Candle Safety Cautions

Never use a bottle candle to light cigarettes or joints.

Never place a bottle candle on sound systems or amplifiers.

Never sleep while a bottle candle is burning.

Always extinguish a bottle candle before leaving the room.

Always maintain at least 10 cm of space between bottle candles.

Always keep clothing and hair away from the flame.

Never place a bottle candle in drafty areas.

Never use or handle a bottle candle while intoxicated.

Never place a bottle candle under shelves.

Always place a bottle candle on a flat and stable surface.

Always burn a bottle candle within direct sight.

Always keep a bottle candle away from soft furnishings.

Always keep a bottle candle out of reach of children and pets.

Safety Storage: Always store candle/lamp oil in a locked location, out of reach of

children and animals. Even a small sip of candle/lamp oil can cause fatal lung damage.

In Case of Ingestion: If candle/lamp oil is swallowed, immediately contact the NHS
